Services

I offer a range of yoga classes and wellness activities. To find out more or to book a class or one-to-one session, please contact me.

If you feel that you need some space and to make good use of your time, yoga can be a way to help.  Not only will you develop flexibility, strength and fitness, you will also improve your ability to relax, unwind and approach things with a fresh and healthy perspective.

Elements of Wellness offers one-to-one sessions, welcoming group classes and workshops in the New Forest and surrounding areas. Classes are friendly and open to any and every BODY…I mean it, they are open to you! You can be a newbie or have years of experience, it doesn’t matter. You can come to any class just as you are and take what it is that you need.

One thing we know, perhaps the only thing we know, is that change is inevitable. A way to embrace the changes of life can be explored with the natural changes of our environment and we can do that with the changing of the seasons. It makes it easier to connect with the concept of change when we consider and embrace the changes that are happening around us. You will therefore notice that the block bookings run across seasonal periods, this is because the yoga practices are designed with our environment and surroundings in mind.

The three months commitment also allows us a sufficient number of weeks to practice. It has been suggested that this timeframe is the minimum amount of time needed to change /create a habit.

I just want you to give your practice enough time to really get a feel and connection between your mind and body.

Group and Community Classes

One-to-One Sessions

Group and Community Classes

These sessions are great if you have an injury, or perhaps feel self-conscious or anxious, or if you feel like you want more support and attention than you are able to get in a group class. Whatever your reason for committing to a one-to-one session, we understand the importance of them. Choosing to invest in private lessons is just that, an investment. These lessons extend beyond a fitness class or merely a form of exercise, they offer you a space to learn about yourself – body and mind. We can explore any obstacles you are faced with and learn skills which can be applied to day to day life. Yoga isn’t just for the time you are doing it – it extends into the here and now and helps give you what you need to navigate through your life. Doing so with fulfillment and meaning.

We certainly like to share space, enjoy connection and promote community in our friendly and welcoming group classes. Perhaps you are just getting started? We don’t like to call them classes for beginners, because in many ways we are all beginners, each time we step on our mat we start anew.  We make a point of remembering that we are with our mat, despite who is next to, in front or behind us. But, if you are just getting started and feel like you would like to enjoy the presence of likeminded people and need some extra guidance these classes will offer you just that. If you are more experienced, do come along, there are always variations.

How much time do I need: 60 minute class time.

Take it easy

With a strong focus on nourishing the mind, body and soul we have created a workshop which allows us to explore breathing exercises, learn relaxation techniques and how to apply these skills to everyday life.

By mindfully focusing on breathwork, you will practice complete relaxation by remaining in asanas (postures/positions) for an extended period. This relaxation calms the nervous and autonomic nervous system, revives our energy stores and supports us letting go of whatever mental, emotional or physical aspects of our lives that our weighting us down.

People who have suffered with depression, insomnia, anxiety and fatigue have reported improvements in their symptoms following practice.

How much time do I need: 3 hours including refreshments and snacks.

Investment: £50.00

We have a team of experts such as psychologists, emotional eating practitioners, nutritionists and personal trainers who we can draw together to create a total wellbeing package for your place of work.

We understand why investing in your employees is paramount for your company to thrive and I think in this day and age we are very aware of the statistical evidence that details the lost working days as a result of depression, anxiety and musculoskeletal disorders.

If you would like to discuss the benefits of workplace yoga or workplace wellbeing packages please do get in touch so that we can discuss your needs further.
